Windows Vista Install : Interactive Setup

The whole Windows Vista Setup process by using Microsoft's interactive Setup application is described here. This application is totally for the Windows Vista only and also it is simple and faster than available in the in the Windows XP.
Steps in the installation of the Windows Vista as a clean install are as follows:
- Insert the Windows Vista DVD in the PC drive and reboot the system. Then screen flash and a message displayed with instruction 'Press any key to boot from the CD or DVD'. If yes, press a key. Some times system boot from the DVD as a default option, without any warning. You will get a black screen with a progress bar and the message as a text 'Windows is loading files' as in the image below.
- The screen have a multicolored effect and initial Setup window appears, as in the image below, where you can preconfigure the language, time and currency formats, and keyboard or way you will feed the input while Setup is going, settings apply only to Setup and not at all for the whole Windows Vista installation.
- Then Click Next and Install Now window appears as in the following image, if you want to continue with Interactive Setup, just click Install Now option and g ahead.
- Enter your Windows Vista product key you will find on a bright yellow product key sticker on the Windows Vista packaging as a 25-digit alphanumeric string, which is in blocks of 5 separated by dashes. Or one can select to have Windows Vista automatically activate it as shown in the following window.
- Agree to the End User License Agreement. Few people read this document, but take the time as it outlines the legal rights with regards to your usage of Windows Vista. The image displayed below is of the EULA window.
