The PCs built since 2005, the Upgrade Advisor will report that the hardware will run the core experiences of Vista. and if at all your PC fails in this test, don't ever think of installing Windows Vista on the system without going for a major hardware update.

If the result of the Upgrade Advisor is 'No action required' on your system for the plugged hardware while the test i going on, means there is no problem at all for installing Windows Vista. But it does not mean that Vista will run fast on that system where the test is carried out, it also indicates that there is no show stopper found.
