windows vista Aero is effective change in the Vista version of Windows; it is hardware-based graphical user interface. It is cleaner, more efficient user interface. It is supported by all Vista Editions without Windows Vista Standard and Windows Vista Home Basic. Windows Vista Aero provides glass-like interface elements, as the name Aero itself stands for Authentic, Energetic, Reflective and Open.

Aero-capable Graphics Memory Requirements Per Resolution
- Single Monitor and Mobile Systems
- 128 MB up to and including 1920x1200
- 256 MB over 1920x1200
- 64 MB up to but not including 1280x1024
- Desktop dual monitors
- 256 MB for larger dual monitor configurations
- 128 MB up to but not including 1280x1024x2
Aero Recommended System Requirements
- 128 MB Windows Aero-capable DirectX 9-class graphics card
- 1 GB system memory that is RAM
Only 256 MB can be used for Integrated UMA Graphics Memory
- 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) CPU
Aero-capable Graphics Requirements
- Supports a WDDM driver
- DirectX 9-class GPU that supports Pixel Shader 2.0
- Supports 32-bits per pixel
Aero Minimum System Requirements
- 64 MB Windows Aero-capable DirectX 9-class graphics card
- 800 MHz 32-bit (x86)
or 64-bit (x64) CPU
- 512 MB of system memory
RAM (Integrated UMA Graphics not supported)
- Supported resolution up to it but don't include 1280x1024 on a Single Monitor System.
- 1 GB of system memory is required with Integrated UMA Graphics which will be required to use the new Aero interface.
