Windows Vista Aero enables dynamic window animations, such as at the time of window minimization it actually shows where the window is going on the taskbar. This functionality already introduced very first time in Windows 95, but now its made more visible in Windows Vista. One more interesting feature that Aero enables is the live taskbar thumbnails, small thumbnail preview will pop up, when one mouse over buttons in the taskbar, you can see window view without actually activating it.
